General Appearance: With only a glance, it is obvious to tell that Midna is not human. She stands tall for a woman, the top of her head reaching 6 feet 2 inches. She has an average build for someone her size, a bit on the curvaceous side, a small waist, wide hips, and a slightly heavy chest. Her face, neck, and chest are white, cut off in V-shape starting at her collarbones and cutting in to a small pinch at the end of her sternum, then widening in a slight pattern around her midsection, and travels down her whole right leg. The Black portion of her body is more articulate. It forms different patters around her whole body, and covers her arms and left leg, which has a two-inch thick anklet on it. The backs of her hands are black from a V-shape that branches from the wrist to her middle knuckle. The rest of her hand is white. On her arms and legs are electric blue, sacred Twilight Realm designs that glow somewhat at sunset and in the night. She wears a hooded cloak that covers her back and falls almost to the very ground. The hood comes up to the back and top of her head only, and stands about four inches above her head, and a black strap that comes on the top of her head, overlapped by hair. The hood is held in place by a metal rod that has identical figures on each end, which lead to a metal facedress that symbolizes her princess-ship. Her firey orange hair falls down her back, but also frames her face, The little bit that falls infront of her shoulders is bound by a bronze pendant that lies on her sternum. Finally, the only other piece of clothing she wears is a belt made of a metal from the Twilight Realm which holds an intricately designed skirt that falls to her ankles. It begins in the middle of her left thigh and wraps around to her left him, leaving the middle and side section of her left leg open.

Overall Personality:

• Playfully Devilish -- When it comes to holding normal conversation, Midna can do so easily. However, she has a bit of a warped sense of humor. She has a tendency to say exactly what she's thinking at a given time, regardless if someone will like the response or not. However, she is also able to give a straightforward and honest response, and will do so if its whats best. Despite having to be serious most of the time in her position as Twilight Princess, she still has a devilish sense of humor that distinguishes her from other upper-class Twili.
  
  
• Somewhat Cynical -- Despite having learned from the past that things can change, and people give an honest effort for things they believe in, as she saw with Link when he tried to save his world, she still cannot help but sneer a bit at those who think heroism alone and great efforts will help everything. She looks down upon those that act indifferent or oblivious to what is going on around them. However, there are select few people whose efforts she will fully acknowledge, if she is able to detect strong will in their hearts.
  
  
• Caring -- Changed by her journey with Link through his world, Midna has developed a fairly prominent compassionate side. Anyone that becomes close to her often is able to feel this more caring side of her. She still views it as sort of strange that someone who used to not care about anything but herself and her world is able to be so compassionate towards others, but she is glad for this change in her personality.
  
  
• Proud -- Being Princess of the Twilight Realm, pride comes naturally to her, however, she does not let it over-inflate her ego. Any pride she has comes from her Princess ship, which is directly to related to her appearance. In the Twilight Realm, the monarchy is based very loosely on familial ties, and more on how humanoid the appearance of a Twili is, and the next ruler is elected, mostly based upon their appearance. She is proud to have achieved her status, and she is also proud that she has been able to pull her Realm back from the evil that Zant and Ganondorf brought.

Character History:

• Midna is born to King Mest and Arin
  
  
• Midna leads a fairly normal lifestyle for the first portion of her life
  
  
• Her father falls ill, and declares it time to elect someone else to take his position at the throne. Midna's main competition for her election was Zant, who proved to triumph over her, and was next candidate in line to become King of Twilight. However, he was passed over by the weak, but still living King, Mest, due to his lust for power and violent nature which, despite his efforts, was visible to all, and Midna became Princess instead.
  
  
• Upon becoming depressed due to his failure at election, he was approached by the spirit of Ganondorf, who granted him the evil power to turn Midna into an imp.
  
  
• Appalled by her hideous new form, Midna left her palace and its people to wander alone, and made her way into the new world of Twilight that Zant's campaign took hold of. There she found a shadow beast, mentioned in a legend, in the form of a wolf. She bargained with the wolf for his freedom if he served her needs.
  
  
• Time and trials passed with the wolf, who came to be known as Link, and eventually she was able to defeat Zant, the Usurper King of Twilight after assembling the Mirror of Twilight, and break into Hyrule Castle by using the power of her ancestors and the Fused Shadow.
  
  
• After aiding Link to defeat a possessed Princess Zelda, Midna risked her life...which Zelda gave her...to save Zelda and Link from Ganon. Ganon temporarily "killed" Midna. She is still unsure how she was brought back to life, she assumes the same Light Spirits that banished her ancestors to the Twilight Realm revived her after Zelda and Link triumphed over The Dark Lord Ganondorf. Since Ganondorf was killed, the curse placed on her by Zant was broken, and she returned to her real form, at long last.
  
  
• Transporting Zelda & Link to safety in Guerdo Desert, she gave her regards to each of them, and shattered the Mirror of Twilight permanently, never to return to the world of light again. It hurt her heart to do it, because she had become so attached to Link, and so grateful to Princess Zelda.
  
  
• She began to restore her world to the beautiful place it was before the reign of Zant, convincing all the Twili that her thoughts were all on their home, when deep down in her heart, and in the back of her mind, she was longing to see Zelda and Link once again, despite that she had truly shattered the Mirror of Twilight.

Roleplay Sample:Midna walked out to her balcony, letting her whole body be bathed in twilight. She closed her eyes as she stepped forward. As soon as the twilight was no longer obscured by part of her palace, she opened her eyes. The blue Twili markings on her skin glowed with a peculiar radiance that she found they had only when in the direct light of the Twilight Realm. When she adjusted her eyes to those who were on her balcony, she stifled a small sigh. As many times as she had requested they not bow when she appeared, they did anyway. Approaching her was one of her advisers. Her father had the same Twili as one of his advisors, so she had faith in her father's choice. "O Twilight Princess..." he said, giving a respectful bow from the mid-torso up, "Is there anything I may do for you?". Shaking her head slowly, she responded "Not right now...I have simply come out to enjoy the Twilight..." The adviser gave her a respectful nod before he walked off, and she walked towards the far end of her balcony.

As soon as she placed her hands on the rail, she let her head hang slightly low. She lowered the hood of her robe and let the light touch her orange hair, giving it the appearence that it was aflame. She looked up into the main light of the Twilight Realm and closed her eyes, letting her memories wash over her. Not all that long ago, she was at this very place, she was an imp hiding in the Hero Link's shadow, while he fought to destroy the Usruper King Zant, and restore her to her proper position of power whilst saving his home, Hyrule from the evil lord Ganondorf, and aid Princess Zelda of the Land of Light. She ran a hand across the balcony as far as her arm would extend. She missed Link, Princess Zelda, and even the Land of Light. She knew Shattering the Mirror of Twilight was the only thing she could do to assure that an evil never crossed both lands like that again. However, she wished that she could somehow see them again.

Turning around, she took a step towards the center of the balcony, but her actions were stopped by a wrench in the center of her body. It stopped her short, and her eyes widened. The feeling spread through her entire body in pulses, like it was radiating from her core. She had never felt anything like it before. What...what is this?! she thought in slight alarm. She extended a hand, and opened her mouth to call out to her one of her advisors, who were talking among themselves. However, she froze in mid-step, her hand still extended. Her body was being broken down into twilight particles. How is my own power being used without my activation?! Midna thought, now fully alarmed. Before she could do anything else, her entire body became Twilight Particles, and a flash of light met her gaze.

It was as though she was above a land, looking down. It was full of normal light, but everything looked different. There were many strange buildings, and a rather square one that looked as though a door was opening to the outside. This wasnt Links world. Where is this place? she wondered. However, her question wasnt answered, only responded to with a Twilight Portal forming in the sky, a few meters infront of the building with the opening doors, and her body of Twilight Particles breaking down again, and forming with her feet floating a bit above the ground. They formed as though a rush of air had came up from beneath her, and slightly made her robe flare out. Once her body fully formed, she dropped to the ground. She heard the breath escape her mouth as she let her knees buckle. She dropped somewhat gracefully to the ground and placed her hands before her while she slightly crossed her legs to the side.

She let out a small groan and placed a hand to her head. Normally, she would be unable to tolerate this sort of light, but luckily the power Princess Zelda bestowed on her some time ago that allowed her to tolerate direct light was still intact. "Where...am I...?" she murmured mostly to herself, but loud enough for anyone within a few meters to hear.
